IN THE RE-OPENING OF OUR CHURCH
MINISTERS AND VOLUNTEERS FOR THE CELEBRATIONS
1. At least two volunteers are needed at each door of the Church to help enter the church: one will be in charge of opening and closing the door and the other with the list of people that have made their reservation. At the end of the Mass only one person will be responsible for opening the door so that people can exit.
2. Only the minimum is necessary for the choir to be able to observe the social distancing.
3. There will be only one reader for each Eucharist.
4. Only one person will be distributing Holy Communion.
5. There will be only two acolytes in each celebration.
6. There will be no collection of offerings pew by pew or no procession of offerings.
7. Two volunteers will help at the end of the Mass to arrange for people to exit pew by pew, any of the two doors of the church can be used.
8. Volunteers are needed to clean the bathrooms after each mass.
9. Volunteers will be needed to do the communion service in the drive way.
10. A volunteer team coordinator is needed to organize the functions in each Eucharist.
11. ALL ministers and volunteers should wear a mask to protect themselves and gloves if necessary.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND
1. If you are sick, or due to any health circumstance your immune system is affected, or if you do not feel comfortable being in a community activity, please stay home. You can follow the live broadcast of the mass on Immaculate Conceptions Facebook page.
2. In order to observe social distancing, the Diocese says that only 25% of the church's capacity can be used. Thus, meaning that only the first 45 people can enter. The front entrance of our church will be monitored. After each mass we will have the distribution of communion in our drive way.
3. We will have a volunteer that only he/she is the one who opens the door of the church to allow people to enter.
4. You will sit only in the designated areas of the church. Members of the same family who come in the same car can sit together.
5. Please bring your own hand sanitizer and it will be much safer for you and others to wear a mask.
6. During the celebrations of Mass, physical contact should be avoided, omit shaking hands with other people. There will be no greeting of peace.
7. There will be no holy water at the entrance; nor the missals with the readings (if you wish you can follow the readings on your electronic devices keeping them in silent mode).
8. To give your offering there will be a basket so that you can deposit it there either at the beginning or at the end of the mass, the baskets will not be passed around.
9. For communion the sacred host will only be distributed in the hand. When going to Communion, please observe the signs on the floor to maintain social distancing while in line. Please keep this in mind for confessions.
10. At the end of the Mass please exit in an orderly manner, perhaps pew by pew to avoid crowding at the door. You can use any of the two available doors to exit.
11. The priest will be outside the church saying goodbye to people, but keeping the social distance.
12. If you did not find an available place to participate in the Eucharist on Sunday, please note that you can do so at the Eucharistic celebrations that takes place during the week in Moultrie or in Camilla. To do this, it is not necessary to reserve a spot, but there will be no more than 50 people in each celebration.
13. The formation classes or catechesis will continue to be done online or digitally. Please contact your child’s catechist.
14. If there are no complications from the pandemic, First Communions are scheduled for Saturday, August 15th. Confirmations for Saturday August 29th. Both ceremonies will be held at the 7:00 pm Mass in Camilla.
15. The next Baptisms will be on Saturday, July 4th. Likewise, the number will be limited according to the maximum capacity established to maintain social distancing
